Year 3 Code Breakers!
We had great fun in maths breaking the code. In order to find out the answer to the question ‘What did archaeologists discover at Stonehenge?’, we had to use our knowledge of place value to answer the questions, then use the code to turn our answers into letters. Everyone worked hard and worked as a team to discover the answer (see below if you don’t know!).
Trip to the Archaeology Museum in Durham
We had a great time at the Archaeology Museum in Durham learning about the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. We handled replica and real artefacts, explored the displays in the museum, reconstructed a skeleton and even made our own Iron Age coins. We were kept busy all day and learnt lots of new things!
